Returns and Refunds Policy
You can request a return for a refund (excluding return shipping costs) within 14 days of receiving your items. Returned lamps or related products must be in their original box, in saleable condition (unless otherwise stated), and must not have been used or modified. Restocking fees may apply.
Orders can be canceled free of charge within 24 hours of payment. Cancellation is not possible after shipment. Cancellations after shipment will incur shipping and/or restocking fees.
Once an order is shipped using expedited shipping, shipping costs are non-refundable. The customer is also responsible for return shipping costs.
Returns and exchanges are always at the customer's expense. Please confirm receipt of the product within 7 days of receiving the package.
- Returned luminaires must not have been installed or modified.
- The return must be shipped within 7 days of approval by our returns team.
- Return items must be shipped well packed and protected in the original packaging.
- Color and size variations may occur due to manual work or screen settings and are not grounds for free returns.
Change order
You can change your order details (such as color, size, or address) within 24 hours. After shipment, changes are no longer possible.
Cancellation of order
You can cancel your order free of charge within 24 hours. After this period, or if the order has already shipped, a 30–50% cancellation fee will be charged for storage and preparation. Shipping costs are your responsibility and will be deducted from your refund.
Returns
Want to return an item? You have 14 days after receiving your order to initiate the return process. Return shipping costs are your responsibility and will be deducted from the refund amount.
- The item must be unused, in the original packaging and complete.
- You have 7 days from approval of your return request to return the item.
- Items that are damaged, soiled, or used are not eligible for return.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal:
- Custom made products.
- All accessories such as light bulbs.
- Large orders (3 or more identical products) cannot be returned. If in doubt, order one item first.
How do you start a return?
- Send your return request with reason and product information to info@nuits.nl .
- You will receive a response with return instructions within 24–48 hours.
- After approval you have 7 days to ship the item.
- Please email the tracking number, tracking link, and photos of the packaged item.
- After receiving the item, we will assess whether the return complies with the policy.
- If approved, the amount will be refunded. If rejected, we reserve the right not to issue a refund.
Refund
Once we receive the returned item in good condition, we will refund the amount via your original payment method.
- PayPal: 1–2 business days
- Credit card: 3–5 business days
Paid shipping costs are non-refundable. For returns of orders with express shipping (such as "EU Stock" or "Hong Kong EMS"), these shipping costs are non-refundable.
Warranty
Our products come with a standard 2-year warranty (excluding user damage or wear and tear). The warranty does not apply to:
- Damage due to misuse, accident or neglect.
- Items purchased through online auction sites.
Specific warranty conditions:
- Rechargeable LED table lamps: 3 months warranty.
- LED lamps, light sources and drivers: 6 months.
- Other parts of LED lamps: 2 years.
- Non-LED products: 2 years.
The warranty is valid from the delivery date as recorded in the logistics information. In the event of damage caused by your own fault, replacement parts are at your own expense.
